Inmar, Inc. is one of those companies that you don't know you know. They are best recognized for their data modeling for coupons; they are also responsible for remarketing products to fill overflow stores (think Big Lots, et. al.). This startup was a JV between Inmar, Inc. and Flow Automotive Group, and the goal was to create a predictive marketing model that fed an automated direct & digital marketing system that targets customers most likely to convert. • Department Direction: Creation and staffing of an automotive joint venture within Inmar, including determination of resource requirements, acquisition of resources, budget management, and project planning. • Product Management: Performed market research, generated detailed business requirements, and implemented SCRUM methodology for a start-up within the corporation. Exceeded timeline expectations for product development despite budgetary constraints and partially allocated resources. • Content & Creative: Alignment of 13 OEMs into single mailer and email template while maintaining CoOp compliance, including unique messaging/creative tacts for domestic and luxury brands.

I made my transition from print to digital in this role. • Department Direction: Creation of processes for streamlining and efficiency, PNL reconciliation, vendor integrations to bolster sales of the digital marketing suite in conjunction with the main CRM products, creative direction for marketing efforts, and implementation of best practices for digital marketing in the retail automotive vertical. • Email Marketing: Coordinated with Infrastructure Technology team to develop and standardize bulk email marketing utilizing ESP best practices and working within automotive OEM marketing requirements to minimize risk of low sender scores and blacklisting for hundreds of dealerships nationwide. • B2C Website Management: Optimized a minimally staffed team to facilitate implementation and maintenance of B2C automotive websites compliant with brand standards for both the manufacturer and the dealership/dealership group.

I gained invaluable experience during my time there. • Management: Managed staff writers, creation and implementation of deadlines, adherence to AP style guidelines, and dictated article assignment and publication. • Copy: Created and edited content ranging in subject matter from local/state politics to local/state sports, and generated weekly editorials on a range of subject matter. • Layout & Design: Formatted and laid out newspaper design, including determination of page structure, creation of advertisements purchased weekly or monthly, generation and maintenance of local events calendar, and editing of staff-take and submitted photography for best viewing under RGB print house parameters.
